This year 8 members of the e/merge Africa team were at the eLearning Africa conference in Mauritius. On 27 September our team led a half day workshop on learning design. The workshop was well attended with nearly 50 conference delegates taking part. e/merge team members also presented and chaired in several other events and Dr Alice Barlow-Zambodla was a panelist in the closing plenary. In this report-back from eLA2017 we will talk about our experiences and learning from the workshop and about our general experiences and impressions from this year’s conference and the opportunities it presented for us. This will be a blended event presented face to face at the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (CILT) University of Cape Town and online via Adobe Connect.
